Our safety program and exemplary accident record has also enabled us to renew our insurance coverage with the same company year after year.

At Superior Transportation, Inc., we pride ourselves in our award winning safety program.  In SCTA’s Trucking and Industrial Safety Contest, we won:

• 1st Place Heavy Hauler in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006,2007,2008 
• 1st Place Industrial Safety Heavy Hauler Division for 1-150 employees for hours worked without a lost time accident in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006,2007,2008 
• 1st Place Most Improved Safety Award in 2004

To further ensure a quality and expert driving staff, we will only hire drivers who have had at least five years of flatbed experience and a clean driving record.  Once hired, our drivers attend mandatory quarterly safety meetings, with each meeting having a specific theme for retraining; for example, load securement, winter driving, and the Smith System.

We are proud to say that our driver turnover rate is less than 20%, in an industry where the average exceeds 100%.
