As the global desire to transition to long term Clean Energy sources continues to grow, Superior Transportation has partnered with Bulldog Hiway Express to transport and deliver wind energy components across the country.
We are very excited to be a part of implementing one of the cleanest sources of renewable energy. The components of the wind turbines we will be helping transport, make it possible to harness the power of the wind and turn it into feasible, clean energy sources. Once the turbines are assembled, the turbine’s blades spin clockwise as the wind blows, capturing energy and sending it to an internal gearbox. The gearbox sends the captured energy to the generator and it is converted to electricity. The electricity generated travels down the wind tower to a transformer where voltage levels are adjusted to match with the power grid the energy is supplying.
